"The Adoration of Jenna Fox" by Mary Pearson

What would it be like if you lost your memory?
What would it be like for the people you once knew?
You would have no idea unless you actually lost it. Or unless you were told a story. You would have to live your life again. You would be pushed to remember things. Just anything. words, letters, faces, places. That sort of thing. It would be like a puzzle. There are so many pieces out there, so many stories just waiting to be put in place. As for the unfortunate pieces that just can't be put together, then they're gone. Maybe forever, but maybe not. You never know with amnesia.
Poor Jenna. Poor Jenna Fox. she doesn't know anything, can't trust anyone, can't remember her own parents. The girl doesn't know anything.
Maybe what she doesn't know can't hurt her.
After all, she is in a mysterious place with mysterious people.
They could have taken her. kidnapped her. Of course she wouldn't think that for a second. They will try to  make it seem like normal, but she wouldn't know that. I feel like there is something wrong with this picture, especially the fact that Jenna's family refuses to tell her anything about the accident.

"She wasn't supposed to survive the accident. But she did."

  1. I love your style of writing! It's very different but interesting and I'm now wanting to read this book.
